Summary 

The Multimedia Specialist is responsible for developing a marketing campaign to assist with recruiting and staffing for the Hays County Sheriff’s Office. The Multimedia Specialist will need to create and maintain a strong online presence for our agency and implement online marketing strategies through social media accounts and other avenues. The Multimedia Specialist must have excellent knowledge of several social media platforms and have excellent communication, planning and time management skills. This individual should be innovative, organized and self-motivated and posse excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask.

• Execute a results-driven recruitment marketing strategy.
• Develop and curate engaging content for multiple outreach avenues including social media platforms.
• Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
• Attend events and produce live social media content.
• Maintain unified brand voice across various marketing platforms.
• Collaborate with marketing team to create a social media calendar.
• Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
• Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
• Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.
• Assist in the development and management of a marketing strategy including the use of influencer marketing. 
• Related special projects as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
• 2-3 years experience with social media marketing or content development
• Direct experience using social media scheduling and management tools (Loomly, Hootsuite, Sprinklr)
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools a plus

• Class C TX driver’s license.
• Bilingual may be preferred (Spanish and English).
